The bc ring is a brand new 62 mile (100km), long distance footpath around the historic market town of Bishop’s Castle, Shropshire. Bishop’s Castle is in the heart of a beautiful walking area of the Shropshire Hills, bordering an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, between Ludlow and Shrewsbury.

The walk is divided into five sections of around twelve miles each, so there is no need to carry a heavy rucksack. We recommend you stay in Bishop’s Castle area and check with your accommodation provider regarding being dropped off at your starting point and collected from your finishing point each day
