Catherine Murphy brings her experience of living and working in the Shropshire Hills, for 30 years, to the exploration of this countryside. She has gradually developed an interest and qualifications in leading walking holidays and has gained experience in Britain, Europe and of course south Shropshire.

Three ladies from  Market Drayton, were the first to complete the walk with leader Catherine and were awarded their bc ring badges on 19 January 2008. They were the first group to complete the 60 miles circuit over 5 days of walking.
Diane Miller, Dorothy Camden and Marlene Farrington used local walk guides to complete this exploration of the hills and valleys around Bishop’s Castle. ‘ We really enjoyed the constantly changing scenes and snippets of local information throughout the days’ says Diane ‘ and whenever we needed a rest, we could look back on all the beautiful landscape we had travelled’

These 12 mile walks have the joy of quality landscapes in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Transport costs will depend on numbers and the guiding costs will be around £10 per day per person.
