Walks with a Leader

Join a group who have decided to take up this two day challenge this autumn.

Two days doing Stages 4 and 5
October 9
th and 10th 2008

You will be transported to the start, at the bottom of the Long Mynd on Thursday morning. Thursday will be linking the Long Mynd and Stiperstones ranges across the Onny valley, a really picturesque walk. This will be followed on Friday with the exploration of Stapely Common, Rownton nature reserve and over the Camlad valley back to Bishop’s Castle.

These 12 mile walks have the joy of quality landscapes in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Transport costs will depend on numbers and the guiding costs will be £10 per day per person.

If you would like to book for these walks or are interested in the first three stages contact Catherine Murphy on 01588 638795 or email to discuss the options available

Catherine Murphy brings her experience of living and working in the Shropshire Hills for 30 years to this occasion. She has gradually developed an interest and qualifications in leading walking holidays and has gained experience in Britain, Europe and of course south Shropshire. This autumnal experience may well be dotted by foraging the hedgerows for fruits and fungi.
