Gravels Post Office to Bishop’s Castle
11.80 miles, 391 metres ascent

Leave the road, passing Holly Bank House, heading toward Stapely Common where the ancient stones of Mitchell’s Fold are to be found. You may then choose to go over Corndon Hill or pass around the bottom; likewise with Roundton Hill. Then  into the Camlad valley . Continue to a farm trail through Lower Broughton before the final stretch up through Sadler’s Little Wood. Take a breather here and admire the view of Bishop’s Castle town.

From the summit of Corndon Hill you can see for miles

Return to Bishop’s Castle via the Wintles  (eco housing). That’s it, you’ve done it! Well done, we hope you enjoyed the walk. Reward yourself with a pint, or two, from either or both of the local breweries.
